Editorial Standards
How we research, write, update and correct our stories.
Independence
GlobalRoamList does not accept payment in exchange for coverage. Advertisers, tourism boards and travel companies do not review or approve our stories before publication. If we ever accept hosted travel or press access, we will say so clearly in the relevant article.
Accuracy and sourcing
We base practical information — entry requirements, opening seasons, transport and rules — on official sources such as government websites, national park authorities, transport operators and tourism boards. Where rules are changing or vary by nationality, we say so and link readers to the official source to confirm.
- We don’t publish fabricated reviews, ratings or testimonials.
- We avoid quoting specific prices that change frequently; when we do, we date them.
- We attribute quotes only to real, identifiable sources.
Dates and updates
Every article shows its publication date. When we make a substantive update — new rules, changed seasons or corrected information — we add an “Updated” date. We don’t change dates for cosmetic edits.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it promptly and, where the error is material, note the correction in the article. Please report errors to editorial@globalroamlist.com.
Photography and attribution
Every photograph and visual published on GlobalRoamList is credited to its photographer and source license. We never use uncredited web images or misleading composite imagery.
